The Student Information Point (STIP) is the first point of contact for students and interested others. It is the place to go with questions about your (future) degree programme at the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences.

Information desk

Until February 4, pening hours of the Information desk are limited to Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Please note: Visiting is only possible after making an online reservation and only for those who come to collect a diploma or certified copy!

7 to 11 February: diploma collection week

From 7 to 11 February, several desks will be open every working day from 10.00 to 12.00 and from 13.00 to 16.00 in the Sjoerd Groenman Building and the Langeveld Building, especially for collecting diplomas:
 

  •  Students of Cultural Anthropology, Sociology and Interdisciplinary Social Science can go to the STIP desk in the Sjoerd Groenman Building.
  •  Students of GST, Educational Sciences, Pedagogy and Psychology can go to two desks in the Events Room of the Langeveld Building.

Visiting during this week is only possible after an online reservation and only for those who come to collect their diploma!

Keep the following in mind when collecting your diploma or certified copy

  • For a certified copy of your diploma: take the original with you. Cellecitng a copy isn't possible from 7 to 11 February.
  • To collect your diploma: bring a valid ID card.
  • Come alone.
  • Keep your distance (1.5 meters).
  • Bring your own, black pen.
  • Wear a face mask.

Have you made a reservation but are not able to attend?

  • Always cancel the appointment.
  • Let us know if at the time of the appointment you are unexpectedly unable to come.

Contact a study advisor if you have any study-related questions or problems. This can include matters related to: planning your studies, doubts about your studies, regulations or falling behind due to personal circumstances.

The study advisors are not dedicated to a particular degree programme. There are six study advisors who are available to all students, regardless of their degree programme.

A study advisor can provide advice, support and information in a confidential meeting and is available during the designated telephone office hours or walk-in hours. It is also possible to make an individual appointment with a study advisor.

  • Walk-in office hours, every working day from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Sjoerd Groenman building, room A006/A008.

Make an appointment

For short questions (+/- 10 minutes) or a consultation meeting (+/- 30 minutes) you can make an appointment with one of the International Officers (in Dutch). Consultation meetings are for students who are not yet certain of their exchange destination(s) and would like to discuss the possibilities. For all other questions, you can make a 10-minute appointment.
