Contact a study advisor if you have any study-related questions or problems. This can include matters related to: planning your studies, doubts about your studies, regulations or falling behind due to personal circumstances.
The study advisors are not dedicated to a particular degree programme. There are six study advisors who are available to all students, regardless of their degree programme. Additionally, each study advisor has his / her own area of expertise. This may be either a particular degree programme and / or a subject such as 'studying and world-class sport'.
A study advisor can provide advice, support and information in a confidential meeting and is available during the designated telephone office hours or walk-in hours. It is also possible to make an individual appointment with a study advisor.
If you have any questions, you can call in during the walk-in hours (maximum of fifteen minutes per student).
When: Monday to Thursday, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Where: Sjoerd Groenman building, room A0.04 / A0.06, Padualaan 14, Utrecht Science Park
Telephone: +31(0)30 253 4876, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
If you expect your question to be too complicated to answer in fifteen minutes you can make an appointment with a study advisor. You can make an appointment via the Student Information Point (STIP). Tel.: +31(0)30 253 4949, every working day from 10:00 to 12:00 a.m. and from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. (closed from 21 December 2019 to 5 January 2020).
The International office offers information and support for incoming and outgoing exchange students of the Faculty of Social Sciences. Contact us if you have any questions about studying abroad on a temporary basis.
