Thesis

For both substantive and practical reasons, students are recommended to conduct their research as part of an ongoing research project within the department. Many staff members are affiliated with the research programmes.
 

• Psychotrauma and Grief;
• Stress and Self-regulation (medically unexplained complaints, eating behaviour, etc.);
• Experimental Psychopathology.

The research project can focus on, for example, new insights into a particular disorder or treatment method. It can also comprise an evaluation of a particular treatment method. A specific focus can be introduced to the internship and thesis that corresponds with a Clinical and Health Psychology staff member's area of expertise. For example, the separate components (thesis and internship) can concentrate on research questions and assistance issues relating to refugees and migrants or to issues concerning eating disorders.

You can also contact the coordinator to discuss choosing a topic.
