Staff and student session: Iran: What is really going on?

to

We see the shocking images in the news and hear about European sanctions against the regime. But what does this mean for human rights on a daily basis? And why is the situation in Iran having such a profound impact on the international legal order right now?

Join the LEG-faculty lunch meeting led by Antoine Buyse, professor of Human Rights and get a unique perspective from the people who are experiencing it firsthand.

Our Finance & Control colleague Ardavan Vameghi will share his personal view on the situation. Julie Fraser (Netherlands Institute of Human Rights, at UU) will explain the legal aspects of human rights and sanctions.

Bring your own sandwich, and we'll provide the insight. Everyone from REBO and Utrecht University is welcome!

You can also follow the session online via Iran and human rights session.
