Springplank! | A unique evening of cabaret try-outs at the Parnassos Theatre | 15 October 2026

to

To make people laugh, inspire and bring people together. The Parnassos Springplank! programme provides a platform for young cabaret talent ready to make their mark.

It’s no coincidence that Springplank! has a permanent place in our programme. Countless young talents have been spotted here and have managed to win over the audience. Come and discover them before they make their breakthrough on the big stage! For a student-friendly price, you’ll enjoy a fun, accessible evening – and you’ll be more than just part of the audience: your feedback helps the comedians to further develop their acts.

Springplank!

Three up-and-coming comedians will be taking to the stage at our theatre on 15 October, each with a 20-minute set. After each show, the audience will have the chance to give honest feedback to help these young performers develop. The evening will be hosted by a professional from the industry, and afterwards you can join us for drinks in our bar – so it promises to be a spectacular and hilarious evening!

Line-up 15 oktober

Marilou Ruigrok

Autism is her superpower! Although Marilou would have preferred to be able to fly or be invisible. Fortunately, she has learnt to wear her discomfort like a warm coat. She stumbles through life, picks herself up again and writes a song about it. She can’t lie, so everything she sings is almost true.

Kaat Blokhuis

I’m Kaat. I sometimes end up making abstract theatre by accident, but that’s because I’m always beating about the bush. So, on a good day, I make non-abstract theatre. Sometimes there is meaning in ‘beating about the bush’, mind you, but usually not. I’m going to try and call a spade a spade!!

Roy Verhulsdonck

Roy Verhulsdonck  Verhulsdonck does a bit of everything. Literally and figuratively. He writes a lot of music, sometimes dances to it, sings, raps, does stand-up and comedy sketches, and occasionally explores abstraction and absurdity. It’s quite a mouthful when he puts it down on paper like that. No matter how many different styles you’ll find in his repertoire, ultimately it all often – and, in the end, almost always – comes down to one thing: not quite knowing how to cope with life and the annoyances that come with it. And there are quite a few of those.

Sjoerd van Capelleveen

This evening will be hosted by Sjoerd van Capelleveen from Bovenste Knoopje Open. Sjoerd is a theatre and podcast creator, actor and musician. As the driving force behind the theatre company and band ‘Bovenste Knoopje Open’, he creates Dutch-language music, cabaret shows and youth theatre. Playfulness is at the heart of his work.
