Lecture: Institutions for Open Societies in a national and international context

Utrecht University is delighted to invite you for a special lecture by Prof. Augusto Ernesto dos Santos Silva on ‘Institutions for open societies in a national and international context’.
Augusto Santos Silva is a Portuguese sociologist, university professor and politician who served as Portuguese Minister of Foreign Affairs between 2015 and 2022, and is presently the President of the Assembly of the Republic. Augusto Santos Silva will shed his light on public governance and institutions for open societies based on his rich experience and expertise. Other speakers include Prof. Bas van Bavel, Programme Director Institutions for Open Societies (IOS) at Utrecht University, and Jurgen Goossens, Professor Constitutional Law at Utrecht University.
