Conference EWUU alliance (TU/e, WUR, UU, UMC Utrecht) Save the Date

Mark your calendars for the 2026 Conference of the strategic alliance between Eindhoven University of Technology, Wageningen University & Research, Utrecht University and University Medical Centre Utrecht (EWUU alliance) on 16 April. The conference takes place at Domus Dela Eindhoven, from 11.30.-17.15 hrs followed by drinks.

New forms of collaboration

The major societal challenges of our time, from climate instability and biodiversity loss to health disparities, resource scarcity and growing insecurity, are complex and cannot be solved by one discipline or sector alone. They require new forms of collaboration: not only across academic fields, but with citizens, institutions and companies that shape society every day. 

Transdisciplinary action

The EWUU alliance is taking that step. We are moving from interdisciplinary collaboration towards transdisciplinary action: developing and sharing knowledge in society, with society to co-shape system change - driving the transitions towards a circular society and to prevention-oriented, resilient health systems. 

Shared space for reflection

On 16 April 2026 in Eindhoven we open a shared space for reflection and imagination. By acknowledging different roles and other perspectives, we will explore new ways of collaboration. Expect inspiring plenaries, interactive sessions and concrete takeaways.
