Academic calendar

Semester I: 3rd week of February – 3rd week of June
Semester II: End of July – 3rd week of November

Orientation generally commences the 2nd week of February for Semester I and the 3rd week of July for Semester II.

Exams take place the 2nd and 3rd week of June for Semester I and the 2nd and 3rd week of November for Semester II.

Requirements

GPA (Average Grade)

There is no GPA requirement for this destination.

English Language Requirement

A grade of 8 or higher in final year English VWO or
An IELTS or Cambridge test.

Students enrolled in a fully English taught Bachelor or Master programme (for example UCU), can provide a letter attesting to the fact that their degree is taught and assessed entirely in English. 
The language requirements must be met at the moment of application to the host university.

Areas of study open to exchange students

You can choose courses from any of UQ's study areas, as long as they are approved by UU.

Courses at Master’s level

Yes, if you have completed the equivalent of a Bachelor degree. Individual subjects/units/courses will be approved in accordance with selection criteria and previous studies. Transcripts of previous results are therefore critical documents that must be included with the application.

Guaranteed accommodation is available for the St Lucia and the Herston campus, both on and off campus. 

UQ also offers more information on on-campus accommodation, off-campus student accommodation or even more private housing. Assistance is available.
