Academic calendar	Semester I: 3^rd week of February – 3^rdweek of June Semester II: End of July – 3^rdweek of November Orientation generally commences the 2^nd week of February for Semester I and the 3^rd week of July for Semester II. Exams take place the 2^nd and 3^rd week of June for Semester I and the 2^nd and 3^rd week of November for Semester II.
Requirements	GPA (Average Grade) There is no GPA requirement for this destination. English Language Requirement A grade of 8 or higher in final year English VWO or An IELTS , TOEFL iBT* or Cambridge test *only valid if taken after May 5^th 2024 Students enrolled in a fully English taught Bachelor or Master programme (for example UCU), can provide a letter attesting to the fact that their degree is taught and assessed entirely in English. The language requirements must be met at the moment of application to the host university. Please check the most recent language requirements on the website of the host university.
Areas of study open to exchange students	You can choose courses from any of UQ's study areas, as long as they are approved by UU.
Courses at Master’s level	Yes, if you have completed the equivalent of a Bachelor degree. Individual subjects/units/courses will be approved in accordance with selection criteria and previous studies. Transcripts of previous results are therefore critical documents that must be included with the application.

Housing assistance	Guaranteed accommodation is available for the St Lucia and the Herston campus, both on and off campus. UQ also offers more information on on-campus accommodation, off-campus student accommodation or even more private housing. Assistance is available. Housing on-campus is not guaranteed and difficult to get in to. Early application for housing is therefore necessary.
Estimated living costs per month	The average cost of living for a student on-campus is around 2500 AUD per month. A more detailed breakdown of the living costs can be found here. For a semester exchange including wanting to travel, a budget of 15000 euro on average is realistic, this is based on budgets of exchange students from 23-24 and 24-25 and includes UU tuition fees. Please be aware that the visa fee increased to around 1000 EUR.
