Requirements | Language requirement: a minimum language level of B1 (CEFR) in English is required. The Université Lumière Lyon 2 is a French-speaking institution. At this time, they do not require any official certificate of French level for exchange students, however incoming exchange students must be sufficiently proficient in French to be able to follow classes and complete coursework. Very few courses are offered in English. During the online application, students will be able to register for a French course :

Areas of study open to exchange students | Arts and Humanities Exchange students are free to choose any course they want from any regular undergraduate program (L1 to L3) and first-year master’s program classes (M1) for MA students. Students may not enrol in professionalizing undergraduate programme classes (L2 & L3 pro), university technical degree programme classes (DUT), in second year master’s classes (M2) or in DU programme classes. |
