Academic calendar | Spring semester: end of February-July Tsinghua University academic semester will last for 18 weeks. Teaching weeks are from Week 1 to 16, Week 17th and 18th are exam weeks. You will find a few public holidays in the spring semester, however, some courses may still have classes over public holidays |

Areas of study open for exchange students | According to Tsinghua's regulation, exchange students coming to Tsinghua can take up to 20 credits courses. Among those 20 credits, no more than 8 credits can be courses of other departments. That is to say, 8 credits can be non-law courses. Undergraduate exchange students are allowed to register for those postgraduate courses, and in the same manner, exchange students of postgraduate level are allowed to take undergraduate courses. Tsinghua Law School has English courses for spring semester and fall semester. Keep in mind that not all courses are available for exchange students and a more detailed course list with courses for exchange students will be published during the registration period. Not all courses offered by masters are available for exchange students, for example courses from the masters MPA (Public Administration), MPP (Public Policy) and MBA (Business Administration). Also the courses offered by the Schwarzman College (Master of Global Affairs) are not available to exchange students, given that they require the payment of Tsinghua’s tuition fees. As an indication below a list of the courses in Fall 2023-2024: Courses available in Spring 2022 (as an indication): Courses available in Spring 2024: to be announced. You are supposed to use your Student ID number and the PIN/password (given by ISSC at the arrival registration) to log in your online account to register for courses. Additional information | Number of places available: 2 (max semester each) Please note that there is an application fee for around 400 RMB (around 56 euros) per semester. This is a non-refundable fee. There will also be a comprehensive insurance fee around 400 RMB/semester, this will be charged upon registration. |
