Academic calendar | Semester I: 2nd week of February – last week of June Orientation generally commences the 1st week of February for Semester I and the 2nd week of July for Semester II. Exams take place in June for Semester I and in late November to early December for Semester II. |

Estimated living costs per month | Average costs per month for food and accommodation are around 5,000 ZAR or €250 (Estimate from 2023). Please note that this does not include any additional costs like entertainment, transport, clothing, etc. Besides that, all exchange students are obliged to pay an Exchange Administrative Fee (EAF) of R4,850 per semester (= appr €500). About half of this fee is for registration, the other half if for your own usage, such as internet, printing for courses, the gym, student societies etc. |
