Please be aware that in order to receive 30 ECTS during your exchange, you'll need to take 15 units. This is higher than the recommended course load by SFU. Please see the credit conversion table above for more information about the conversion from SFU units to ECTS.

Exchange students must pay the Medical Insurance Fee (281,- Canadian dollars per term) and U-Pass BC Fee (180,40 Canadian dollars per term) to Simon Fraser University.

The medical insurance fee is charged to all students coming from an institution outside of Canada.

The U-Pass BC program is a transportation package which provides students in Metro Vancouver with universal and affordable access to public transit.
