Requirements

You have to document fluency in written and spoken English through English test results. The English tests and scores required:

  • IELTS: 6.5 or
  • TOEFL paper-based: 550 or
  • TOEFL computer-based: 225 or
  • TOEFL internet-based: 80 or
  • Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): 45 or
  • Certificate of Advanced English (CAE): 45

You will be doing this exchange programme as a fulltime student (30 EC per semester).

Areas of study open to exchange students

Human Geography and Planning, but you are allowed to take courses within other subject areas as long as you have a relevant academic background.

Estimated living costs per month

These will depend on your personal standards and requirements. To give you an idea, here is an approximate average per month for selected expenses:

Housing DKK 3,000-5,000 (€ 400-670)

Food DKK 1,500-2,000 (€ 200-270)

Transportation DKK 660 (€ 90)

Books DKK 250-500 (€ 35-70)

In total, you should expect to use approximately DKK 8,000 (€ 1,070) per month.

Normal study load:

  • four courses per semester (regular courses are worth 7.5 EC)
