Academic calendar | Semester I: 1st week of September - 3rd week of December Orientation generally commences the last week of August for Semester I and the 2nd week of August for Semester II. Exams take place the 3rd week of December for Semester I and the 2nd week of June for Semester II. |

Areas of study open to exchange students | Once exchange students fulfill the prerequisites or have the consent of their instructors, they are allowed to take any courses at NTU except the practical training courses in the school of Medicine. |
Courses at Master’s level | Yes. Courses at Master’s level are only open to exchange students in graduate level of study at their home university; undergraduate exchange students may not be allowed to take them. |

Housing assistance | NTU dormitory is not available for exchange students. Students are responsible for arranging their own accommodation for their exchange period a NTU. The university has provided a list of reliable accommodation platforms here. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, foreigners visiting Taiwan are required to undergo a 14-day quarantine and 7 days of self health management. Currently the quarantine fee is around TWD 60,000 (including 3 meals a day). |
