Academic calendar

Semester I: 1st week of October – 2nd week of February
Semester II: 4th week of February – last week of June

Orientation generally commences the last week of September for Semester I and the 3rd week of February for Semester II.

Exams take place early February for Semester I and late June for Semester II.

Language of instruction

Courses are taught in English and Polish.

Housing assistance

Incoming students can stay at one of four JU well located student dorms (monthly cost for one person in a double room is ca. 100 EUR). Please bear in mind that the selection of the dorm is made by the JU International Students Office. Information about housing

Between 304 – 772 EUR per month depending on type of housing and lifestyle.

Credits

Normal study load per term in credits: 30 ECTS
in courses: 3 – 10 (regular courses are worth 6 ECTS)

Grading system: 2 (fail) - 5 (excellent)
Minimum pass: 3

Number of places available

6 places per year. 

 

Selection

We expect selection to be necessary for 22-23

A graduation ceremony in a very large lecture room at the University of Krakow.
