Bard Globalization and International Affairs Program (BGIA), (New York City)

Experience international affairs first-hand in New York City with a term of intensive study and professional internship. The BGIA is a mixed program of high-level, seminar-style courses and a part-time internship, offered by Bard College. When applying you need to go through the UCR Board of Examiners, and then directly to BGIA.

BGIA students live in dorms on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, in the Hirsch Residence. The dormitory is shared with other college level programs, and students are encouraged to study and socialize together in common spaces. Residents also have free access to the gym and pool, and discounted rates for talks and performances at the Y.

Estimated living cost per month

Generally, housing is approximately $1,700/month in a double room.
