English Language Requirements

Carefully read the language requirements and be aware that an official language certificate such are IELTS or TOEFL might be necessary. Keep in mind the additional cost and time needed to obtain such a certificate.

Areas of study open to exchange students

Students can take courses at the 'School of Linguistics and English Language', which means that courses can be taken in English Studies, French Studies, German Studies, Italian Studies, Literature, and Linguistics. 

Students can request a combination of modules from the 'School of Modern Languages and cultures', 'School of English Literature', and 'School of Linguistics and English Language'. Only 10 Bangor credits are allowed outside the courses at the 'School of Linguistics and English Language'. It is not possible to participate in field trips.
