Academic calendar

Semester I: 1st week of October – 4th week of February
Semester II: Late February – 4th week of June

Orientation generally commences the last week of September for Semester I and mid February for Semester II.

Exams take place in February for Semester I and in June for Semester II.

There is no GPA requirement for this destination.

B2 level is required in the language of instruction.

Language of instruction

Courses are normally taught in Greek. However, there are courses in other languages too, especially at the:

  • Foreign Language Faculties 
  • Faculty of Law (courses in English, French and German language)
  • School of Journalism & Mass Communication
  • School of Economics
  • School of Political Sciences

For all other fields of study, we do not advise choosing this partner university unless you speak Greek.

Housing assistance

The university does not offer their own accommodation. The Department of European Educational Programmes, in order to help the Incoming Erasmus+ and Erasmus Mundus students to find accommodation, has added in its current website a link showing flat and/or room advertisements from independent landlords.
